These terms govern your use of the nu3 app, operated by Beyer Ventures S.L., Valencia, Spain. By using the app you agree to them.
What nu3 is — and is not
nu3 estimates the nutritional content of meals from photos using AI. Estimates are approximate by nature: portion size, hidden ingredients, and preparation methods cannot always be determined from an image. The app shows its confidence and its assumptions so you can correct them.
nu3 is not medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. Do not rely on it for medical decisions, allergy safety, or any situation where an inaccurate estimate could cause harm. Consult a qualified professional for dietary or medical guidance.
Free allowance and subscriptions
- The free tier includes a fixed number of AI photo scans per device, plus unlimited manual entry and the full food log.
- nu3 Pro is an auto-renewing subscription ($5.99/month or $29.99/year) with unlimited AI scans and a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
- Billing, renewal, trial conversion, and cancellation are handled by Apple's App Store (or Google Play). Cancel anytime in your store account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Refunds are handled by the store under its policies.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse the metering of, or gain unauthorized access to the service, and do not use automated tooling to submit scans. We may throttle or refuse requests that abuse the service.
Your content
Photos you scan remain yours. You grant us the limited right to process a photo transiently for the sole purpose of producing the nutrition estimate you requested. See the privacy policy for details.
Availability and changes
The analysis service depends on third-party AI providers and may be unavailable, rate-limited, or changed. We may update the app and these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. Your food log is stored on your device and remains accessible offline regardless of service availability.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and our total liability for any claim arising from it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. The courts of Spain have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in another competent jurisdiction.
